Carried a mirror to Tiffany’s in the morning to ensure that I didnt chicken out of doing a self portrait. I’d been meaning to post another for the Self Portrait Marathon organized by Sparky at his Crackskull Bob blog. It will continue till the end of June and all are welcome to join in and put in as many entries as you like. So have a look at what the others have been posting and give it a go.
I didnt manage to get more than half way through in the morning as I was distracted by the fact that I would not be meeting Harriet or Maria again. They leave Dhaka soon. Came back home and completed it. I think I have captured a bit of what I was feeling. Let me know what you think.
Ujwala, what a great picture, and very fast to finish too. In our last meeting (I, Maria, and Tiffany) at my house, I tried to use water color pencil, and I am not really happy with the result. It looks too thin. I guess I just have to practice alot.

I like this portrait a lot. Though I have to say I remember you a lot slimmer!
I am longing to join this blog, but two things are stopping me. Totally disfunctional internet provider. I shudder to think how long it would take to post a picture – am working on getting a better service.
Also NO PAINTING – only unpacking for the last 2 almost three months!! I’ve booked myself on an art course starting in beginning of November and am really hoping that will get me going.
Great blog though. I’m looking forward to being part of it.
